The following privacy policy discloses our policies for information gathering and dissemination for OEM America's Web sites, which include www.oemamerica.com and www.oemamericaemploymentcenter.com our password-protected online service platform (collectively referred to as "OEM's Web sites"), which are available to our clients and our worksite employees.
What information do we collect? Pursuant to our relationship with you, as set forth either in a OEM America Client Service Agreement or OEM Employee Handbook, we maintain a variety of personal information about you, your company and your employees. Most, and in some cases, all of this information is available to you through OEM's Web sites. This personal information includes details concerning you, your spouse and dependents and includes: salary, health benefits, time off, retirement plans, social security and tax identification number, phone number, mailing address, and email address, information about employment history and employment status, and tax filing information.
What do we use this information for? Primarily, we use the information collected from you to provide you with the services available through OEM's Web sites. We use your name, e-mail and mailing address to assist OEM in communicating with you if so requested.
What kind of security is used to protect my information? We store all user information in secure databases protected via a variety of access controls. This data is accessed only for the purposes specified in this privacy statement. When the use of OEM's Web sites involves the transmission of confidential information, we use 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to establish and maintain a secure connection between your personal computer and our servers.
Who has access to my information? We do not share personally identifiable data with other companies apart from those acting as our agents in providing our services to you, who agree to use it only for that purpose.
What about children's information? Consistent with the Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), OEM America will never knowingly collect personal identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without first obtaining parental consent.
