Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Sells OEM’s outsourced business services, such as HR service and PEO, as well as other services and products like Payroll Administration, HRIS, Training and Employee Compliance (which may be emerging in OEM’s market,) by developing sources of prospective customers by studying business and telephone contacts and CRM, consulting business associates, and observing business establishment while operating in sales territory.
  • Reviews ideas to expand sales available to present and/or new customers.  Calls on prospects to explain features of services, cost, and advantages. Writes new business and schedules initiation of services.  Manages the entire sales process including prospecting, qualifying, and securing leads.  Responsible for meeting ongoing sales targets and goals (individual and group) and measuring self-success.
  • Evaluates and recommends business partnering opportunities.
  • Establishes and maintains contacts with financial institutions and the investment community.
  • Analyzes studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization’s policies and operations.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or MBA or equivalent from four-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs, to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, licenses and registrations: PC or Life & Health Insurance License Preferred; PHR/SPHR or ability to achieve certification preferred.  Valid Driver License without restriction is required. Background screen, employment test, employment application all required.
